Who processes your data

The controller is Radek Stach (GART), operator of the game Glen and the website gart.games. Contact: info@gart.games.

What we collect – in short

As little as possible. The game has no accounts or registration yet and does not ask for your name, e-mail or payment details. We use no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

While you play

• Technical connection data (IP address, time, browser type) is processed by the hosting and network providers that run the game and website: Render (Render Services, Inc.) and Cloudflare. It is used only to operate and protect the service and is kept in their operational logs for a limited time.
• Your character’s appearance (gender, colours, hair …) and position in the game are sent to the game server so other players can see you. The server keeps them in memory only while you are connected.
• A face from a photo is optional. Your browser processes the photo itself: it cuts out and scales down a small face image. The original photo is never sent anywhere. The small image is saved in your browser and sent to the server, which shows it to other players in the same world and keeps it in memory only – it disappears from the server when you disconnect. You can remove it with the remove-face button in the game or by clearing the site’s data in your browser.

In your browser

The game and website remember your settings in your browser (localStorage): graphics, character appearance and chosen language. This data stays with you and is used for nothing else. You can delete it by clearing the site’s data in your browser.

Third-party services

Neither the website nor the game loads anything from third parties – fonts and images are hosted directly on gart.games. Apart from the hosting and network providers listed above (Render, Cloudflare), your data goes nowhere else.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and erase your data, to restrict processing and to object. Write to info@gart.games. You can lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz) or the supervisory authority in your country.

Changes

When the game gets accounts or other new features, we will update this page and its effective date.
